Nevada lawn care
Nevada lawn care: find your grass, plan mowing and seasonal repairs, and check watering, soil and local growing conditions before treating a patch.
Check Southern Nevada conversion terms before removing turf
For owners considering SNWA’s residential conversion program, the current application terms require inspection and approval before turf removal. This program does not describe every Nevada property; eligibility and current rules must be checked with the provider.
- Before removal
If applying to the program, obtain its required inspection and approval before starting work.
Keep the project and site record- Retained irrigation
In a partial conversion, the terms prohibit retained turf sprinklers from spraying converted areas or producing runoff.
Check boundaries and delivery- Existing lawn
For grass that remains, retain elevation, local watering rules and actual species with its care plan.
Set realistic water and recovery goals
